Wyckoff Point & Figure Charting

Richard Wyckoff, a well-known trader and instructor, based his investment decisions on the analysis of market structure, supply and demand, and comparative strength. In addition to these components, he also employed a unique method of using Point-and-Figure (P&F) charts to identify realistic price targets and improve the timing of entries and exits. This technique is useful for calculating reward-to-risk ratios and helping traders stick with winning trades through normal corrections. In Part I of this two-part course, Bruce Fraser and Roman Bogomazov teach the basics of using P&F charts to calculate price targets using Wyckoff’s horizontal counting approach. They present the materials as case studies that begin with a blank P&F chart, and then demonstrate their step-by-step process for taking and projecting horizontal counts as the chart unfolds over time.
